Age Limit & Selection Process

- ITI Certificate in relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Welder, Carpenter, Machinist, etc.)
- Certificate should be from NCVT/SCVT recognized institute
- Medical fitness as per Railway standards

Salary & Pay Scale Details
- Monthly Stipend: ₹7,000/- to ₹9,000/- per month (as per Apprenticeship Act 1961)
- 1st Year Stipend: ₹7,000/- per month (Annual: ₹84,000/-)
- 2nd Year Stipend: ₹7,700/- per month (10% increment)
- Additional Benefits: Training allowance, Medical facility during training period
- Training Duration: 1-2 years depending on the trade
- Future Prospects: Preference in Railway recruitment and skilled trade experience

Exam Difficulty & Competition Analysis
- Difficulty Level: Moderate to High - Merit based on ITI + 10th marks
- Expected Applications: 2,50,000-3,00,000 candidates for 3115 posts
- Competition Ratio: Approximately 1:80 to 1:100 (Very High Competition)
- Previous Cut-off Range: 75-85% combined marks (ITI + 10th) for general category
- Preparation Time: 2-3 months for document preparation and trade knowledge revision
- Success Rate: Approximately 1.2% selection rate - High merit requirements

Training Center Details
- Eastern Railway Zone: Training will be conducted at various workshops and divisions of Eastern Railway
- Major Training Centers: Jamalpur Workshop, Kanchrapara Workshop, Liluah Workshop
- Divisions: Sealdah, Howrah, Asansol, Malda, Ranchi
- Workshop Allocation: Based on trade and home state preference
- Final training center allocation will be mentioned after merit list declaration
